Join an Academic Learning Community and you may...
What is an Academic Learning Community?
An Academic Learning Community begins with a unique class or a series of connected (themed) classes, where you develop critical thinking, writing, and communication skills, build a network of friends, and connect with peer advisors and faculty mentors.
In an academic learning community, you can find service, research, and novel project opportunities that will enrich your first-year learning experience and help you to further define academic and career goals. You may also earn General Education credit required for graduation.
There are many academic learning communities on campus. Explore the first-year Learning Communities below and join the community that is the most interesting to you and where you feel you would belong.
