Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) are specific, measurable statements describing the skills and disciplinary knowledge students demonstrate by the end of a course. They are the foundation of the outcomes architecture — where the system becomes tangible in everyday teaching.

Additional Requirements for GE & BD Courses

General Education (GE) and Baccalaureate Degree (BD) courses carry additional required outcomes:

GE: Must include outcomes aligned with state policy (Utah Code R470) for each requirement area.

BD: Must include institutionally defined outcomes for each requirement area.
