Tuition & Fees: $2,854 – $3,362 for 6–7 credits.
Housing: $1,821 (double room)
Meals: $1,207 – $1,266
Program Fee: $30 flat fee.
Optional August Break Housing: Students who need to remain on campus between the end of Summer Session 2 and the start of Fall semester may apply for August Break Housing.
- July 1: August Break Housing application opens
- July 22: Application and payment deadline
Details regarding eligibility, housing location, and rates will be provided directly by Housing & Residential Education once the application opens.
Financial Aid: Students are encouraged to complete the 2025–2026 FAFSA if they wish to be considered for summer financial aid.
Residence Halls Details
Students will live on campus in the University of Utah residence halls during the program. Housing location details will be shared with admitted students before the start of the program.
Strong Start students will live on campus at Lassonde Studios for the duration of the Summer Session 2 program.
Students will reside together in a vibrant residential community designed to foster connection, collaboration, and academic success. Detailed move-in instructions and housing information will be shared with admitted students prior to the start of the program.
Required Dining Plan
Students who live in campus housing are required to purchase a meal plan. For Summer Session 2, three meal plan options are available for selection.
